Hi! I’m Dr. Erica Kesselman, your trusted friend in women’s health.
With over 25 years of experience in obstetrics and gynecology, I’m passionate about empowering individuals through education, clear communication, and compassionate care. My mission is to normalize conversations about women’s health from menstruation to menopause, promote healthy aging, and inspire confidence in the incredible capabilities of the human body.
Community Engagement
Beyond my clinical work, I am deeply committed to community engagement and education. For over a decade, I was a regular voice on WINY Radio’s morning show in Putnam, CT, where I discussed a wide range of women’s health topics. I also teach sex education to middle and high school students, helping adults & young people understand their bodies and develop healthy attitudes towards sex and sexuality.
Education & Background
I began my medical journey with an undergraduate degree from Lafayette College. Following that, I attended medical school at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler School of Medicine. I completed my residency at NYU Langone Medical Center’s Long Island Campus, formerly known as Winthrop University Hospital, where I gained a strong foundation in obstetrics and gynecology.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in various esteemed institutions. For two decades, I was part of the team at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, Connecticut. Additionally, I spent two years at Women & Infants Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island. My dedication to education extends beyond my clinical practice; I am currently an affiliate professor at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, where I mentor and teach the next generation of healthcare professionals.
